I consider writing fiction to be a calling; as much as hearing that phrase is cause to make me cringe, it’s where I believe I can best use my writing skills to connect with other people, and connect them with life itself.

My debut novel is called The Baggage Handler, and it’s a story that asks the question: what would you do if you had to deal with the baggage you carry?

It won the Christy Award in 2019 for Best First Novel and continues to touch readers, getting them to stop for a moment and think about the baggage that they may be carrying, and what they might do about it.

The Camera Never Lies was launched in December 2019, and poses the question: what would you do if your secrets were revealed to those around you, and there was nothing you could do to stop it?

It tells the story of a marriage counselor who is more than happy to tell his clients to keep no secrets, but has great trouble listening to his own advice. then his grandfather’s camera reveals his secrets … This novel is also available from Amazon and good book outlets.

Where the Road Bends will be coming out in June 2020. It explores the concept of the journeys of life, and how we end up on the road we take.

Four College friends reunite 15 years after graduation for a trip to outback Australia, and as they lose themselves in a harsh land they realize just how much they need to find themselves.
